Electronic Banking Specialist

Reports to: AVP, Operations Supervisor

FLSA: Non-exempt

Ciera Bank has been serving Texas Communities since 1890 and we now have 8 locations. We’re looking for a full time Electronic Bank Specialist position. The Electronic Banking Specialist is responsible for processing and maintaining electronic banking needs. The Electronic Banking Specialist provides daily assistance via phone and email, including diversified operations support to all bank employees throughout the corporation. This position can be done at any of our 8 locations.

Essential Functions of the Electronic Banking Specialist

 

  • Treasury Management originator set up; assisting with issues and questions originator might have with the system. 
  • Business/ Retail online banking setup and all maintenance.
  • Provide assistance as needed for Zelle, Bill Pay, Abiliti, Voice Banking, Notify
  • Approve ACH files daily.
  • Approve Mobile Deposits daily.
  • Monitor All Electronic Banking functionality reports.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
  • Verify case tracker cases within Client Central.
     
 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities of the Electronic Banking Specialist

(Minimum education, experience, technical and communication skill levels and licenses/certificates normally required to perform the duties of this position.)

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work in a high-volume area and meet daily deadlines.
  • Basic oral and interpersonal communications skills.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Accuracy of work.
  • Must be able to multi-task.
  • Moderate PC skills and ability to learn the Bank’s software.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to work varying schedules.
  • Ability to work unsupervised.

 

 

Physical Demands of the Electronic Banking Specialist

Work involves standing and walking for brief periods of time, but most duties are performed from a seated position.  Work may include occasional pushing, pulling, or carrying objects weighing up to 20 pounds such as files, documents, and computer printouts.  Work normally requires finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination to operate computer keyboard at an advanced skill level. Position includes moderate reading (10% or more of work time spent reading) and extensive computer usage (60% or more of work time viewing computer monitor) as well as close or highly concentrated visual work.  Receive detailed information through verbal communication both in person and by telephone.

Working Relationships/Contacts of the Electronic Banking Specialist

Internal – Extensive contact with personnel throughout the Corporation.

External – Frequent contact with customers and insurance providers in order to obtain or provide information and/or assistance and to resolve exception items.

Supervision of Others – N/A

ACCOUNTABILITY of the Electronic Banking Specialist

     This position is directly responsible for achieving individual production goals.
